The United Arab Emirates has called for an end to the increasing tensions between Israel Palestine recent conflict. On Saturday, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) released a statement expressing “deep concern” about the situation and expressing deep sorrow for the deaths that have resulted from the recent violence.
The Foreign Ministry released a statement, stressing the need of ending the escalation of the conflict and protecting civilian life. The UAE also urged utmost caution and called for an immediate ceasefire to avoid any more catastrophes.
As a non-permanent member of the United Nations Security Council, the United Arab Emirates urges the international community to reinstate the Quartet as soon as possible in order to reestablish the path to Arab-Israeli peace.
“UAE also urged to increase all efforts to achieve a just and comprehensive peace, and prevent the region from witnessing additional instances of violence, tension, or instability” according to the Ministry.

A total of 600 people have died as a direct consequence of the rising violence, according to estimations given by healthcare providers in both Israel and Palestine.
Palestinian fighters from the Gaza Strip launched an unprecedented assault into southern Israel, while Hamas group militants in the Gaza Strip, announced the commencement of a fresh offensive.
They launched a barrage of missiles at their enemy and sent thousands of troops over the border to invade the country. The extremists had already begun an assault when the spies finally arrived. The Israeli military then launched a series of airstrikes in retaliation.
A day after Hamas’s surprise strike, Israel has declared a “state of war” as heavy combat between Palestinian rebels and Israeli soldiers continues over various sites in southern Israel.
