Elon Musk, owner of X, has recently tested a new feature providing users the option of live game streaming on the platform. It would seem that the corporation is now developing a video game broadcasting function that is comparable to Twitch.
Elon Musk published a post on his gaming account highlighting the new video game streaming service that included one hour of action from the Diablo PvP arena on Blizzard’s platform.
Even if the stream quality is satisfactory at best, there are currently no options to improve the quality of the video in any way.
A user pointed out,
It’s high pitched. There is also a glimmer of light.
The owner of X responded,
Haha, something that needs to be fixed.
Between June of 2020 and June of 2021, there were 91 million gamers using the site, and there were 70 tweets each second relating to gaming.
Just a quick test of X video game streaming
Elon Musk said using his gaming username while live game streaming.
In spite of the fact that the original live feed lasted for more than an hour, Musk just published a little segment of it on his official account and said,
Last night I put the X video game streamer device through its paces. It is effective. Will make an attempt to clear a Nightmare dungeon of level 100 tonight while I am online on this platform.
In June this year, Elon Musk dropped a few hints that his company, X, would be considering entering the market for live video game broadcasting. He also hinted the same in response to a user’s query on X.
Only 1 day before that, Twitch had announced some new restrictions that would have an immediate impact on the broadcasters who made money from sponsored content. As a result of this, a lot of people that play video games quit broadcasting on Twitch and switched to other platforms, such as YouTube Gaming and Facebook Live.
