Today, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), talked on the phone with a number of regional leaders and heads of state to review recent events of Palestine Israel conflict in the region.
In separate phone calls to each head of State, His Highness spoke to His Majesty King Abdullah II bin Al Hussein of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan; Abdel Fattah El Sisi, President of the Arab Republic of Egypt; Bashar Al-Assad, President of the Syrian Arab Republic; Isaac Herzog, President of the State of Israel; and Justin Trudeau, Prime Minister of Canada.
“HH Sheikh Mohamed emphasized the urgent need for de-escalation and called on all sides to exercise restraint in order to safeguard the lives of civilians”
“He reiterated the importance of dialogue and diplomacy, and encouraged the international community to support all efforts aimed at avoiding further conflict that jeopardises the security and stability of the region and its people”Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statment.
UAE President Sheikh Mohamed placed a strong emphasis on the immediate need for de-escalation and issued an appeal for all parties involved to demonstrate restraint in order to protect the lives of civilians in Palestine Israel Conflict.
The President of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) reaffirmed the significance of discussion and diplomacy and urged the international community to back any and all efforts made to prevent future violence that threatens the safety and tranquillity of the region and its people.
