During the World Affairs Meeting in Dubai on March 21, 2024, the Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, launched the Mothers’ Endowment campaign to honour mothers by establishing an endowment fund. Investors have pledged one billion UAE dirhams to keep the fund running. Reports indicate that Alfardan Group put in 50 million UAE dirhams towards this result.
The Alfardan Group has committed to providing funding for the initiative in the amount of AED50 million over a period of five years. This commitment is in recognition of the significant role that mothers play as their children’s first teachers. In doing so, they improve the quality of life for all individuals by ensuring that knowledge is passed on to subsequent generations. Contributions are just one out of many aspects that make up the massive response to the campaign.

Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives (MBRGI) launched a campaign before the holy month of Ramadan to express gratitude to mothers through money donations. In doing so, it pays tribute to the work that women put in to care for their families and ensure that their children have access to quality education.
The programme promotes sentiments of admiration, kindness, unity, and reverence for parents while simultaneously restoring endowments as a way of permanent charitable giving.
Distribution methods
With six primary channels, including the campaign website (Mothersfund.ae) and a dedicated contact center via the toll-free number (800 9999), the Mothers’ Endowment campaign is still accepting contributions and donations to the endowment fund from people and institutions.
You may also donate using the UAE dirham by transferring funds to the campaign’s Emirates Islamic Bank account (AE79034000370847290920).
Etisalat users may donate by texting “Mother” to 1034, 1035, 1036, or 1038. In addition to Jood (Jood.ae), the DubaiNow app (under “Donations”) allows campaign donations.
