To ease residency and work visa processing for private sector employees, the UAE government launched the “Work Bundle Policy”. The project will begin in Dubai and spread to other emirates.
The United Arab Emirates has taken a giant leap towards a more flexible and reduced work life for all employees with its introduction of the revolutionary Work Bundle Policy. A more equal work-life balance, happier employees, and greater freedom are the aims of this revolutionary policy’s laws.
The United Arab Emirates is establishing the way for a new, creative routine in global employment standards by simplifying laws and providing exceptional chances for workers across the country. Not only is this improvement welcomed, but it also makes this area a better spot to live and work.
“The Work Bundle policy would facilitate, simplify and shorten the procedures for residency and work (permits) in the country,” according to Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Ruler of Dubai and Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE.
He mentioned that the Work Bundle will cut 12.5 million annual visits, and 62.5 million working days annually that were previously used by the government for residency and employment contract renewals. There will be huge savings for the public and private sectors as a result of this initiative, which is projected to reduce 25 million processes annually.
A single platform
Businesses benefit from the Work Bundle since it streamlines and simplifies processes for private firms. The policy is the product of joint efforts by federal and state agencies, with the goal of streamlining the transaction process for customers using digital platforms that offer the service.
Which services are included in the Work Bundle?
Everyone may now use one convenient platform to take care of all their employment-related needs, including renewal, cancellation, medical exams, and fingerprinting.
Visit the “Invest in Dubai” website or download the mobile app to access the platform anytime. The Work in UAE website is only one of several official digital outlets that will subsequently use it.
How does Work Bundle help employees overseas?
When you want to hire someone from outside the country, you have to do two things: get a work permit and fill out the unified application. The next step in becoming a resident of the United Arab Emirates is for the worker to receive an Emirates ID card and pass a medical check.
At the same time, in order to renew the service, the business owner must complete a single application. The employee then completes the medical examination and receives their Emirates ID.
