Anyone who has seen even modest WhatsApp changes may be confused.
The addition of a capital letter to the status bar of the popular messaging app irritated users a week earlier. One may see in a chat window if someone is “online” or “typing.” The change from “Offline” to “Online” and “Typing” was invisible, but noticed same.
Certain sections of the messaging service have gone green, and several buttons now match the logo’s shade. In the latest version, the arrow button that was blue while sending photographs is now green, and the notification that was blue but is now green appears on the right side of unopened conversations.
We have added additional features for our audience in response to the latest WhatsApp function, which allows users to use two accounts on the same Android device.
On Thursday (April 25), users flocked to X—formerly Twitter—to express their disapproval of the redesign.
“Why isn’t anybody talking about the ugly new green WhatsApp or am i the only one seeing it?”@jefff256 asked.
The changes are “not something you can choose out of,” according to WhatsApp, so those who aren’t happy with the upgrade will have to live with the results.
As the most recent upgrade has been rolling out, WhatsApp users may have seen even more changes recently. An updated color design is only one of the modifications that the messaging app boasted about on its website. Among these changes is a shift in the color scheme to better complement WhatsApp’s brand shading, as well as a few redesigned icons and buttons.
“If you can’t see these changes yet, there may be a short wait before they reach everyone. Please make sure to keep WhatsApp updated to the latest version in the meantime”, WhatsApp, which has approximately two billion monthly active users, said.
This isn’t only a cosmetic change; it’s a statement about WhatsApp’s determination to always be evolving to meet the demands of its users.
For better readability, the black option has been “even darker,” while the brilliant mode includes additional white space. Other parts of the services are now more dispersed, and you can see the WhatsApp logo on the chats page as well.
Keep an eye out for future improvements and don’t stop investigating all the ways WhatsApp may bring you in touch with loved ones and colleagues all across the globe.
