Internet star Abdu Rozik, who is residing in Dubai, is getting ready to start a new chapter in his life by marrying up arms with a Sharjah-born Arabian woman.
The International Fighting Championship Management (IFCM), which looks after Rozik’s career, confirmed his wedding on July 7 at a secret venue in the United Arab Emirates.
“Abdu Rozik is thrilled about it. We’re all delighted for him and wish the couple the best,” said an IFCM spokesperson.
Abdu Rozik, 20, will tie their lives together with Amira, his fiancée, an Emirati girl of 19 years old.
“Everyday life is not easy for me and finding love seemed an even harder challenge as there are so many obstacles. But Allhamdulillah, I’ve found Amira, and she loves me for who and what I am,” Abdu Rozik said.
There have been no announcements on the celebrations, but IFCM claims that the marriage is a love marriage. The joyful couple recently became engaged.
Rozik had his start in life fighting off rickets after being born into a family of gardeners in Tajikistan’s Bangkent area. He went from performing at a local market for less than Dh2 a day to being a famous influencer.
Now that he has 8.2 million Instagram followers, Rozik is a Tajik household name.
His MMA encounter with competitor Hasbulla Magomedov and the subsequent footage of their pre-fight press conference caused him to suddenly become very popular.
