In the four Emirates, most parking spots will be free during the Eid Al Adha celebrations.
From June 15th to the 18th, drivers in Dubai may enjoy four days of free parking, except terminals with several levels.
On Friday, Abu Dhabi’s officials announced that public parking will also be free from June 15 to 18.
“Passing through Darb toll gates will also be free of charge from June 15 to 18,” according to Abu Dhabi’s Department of Municipalities and Transport (DMT).
The Municipality and Planning Department of Ajman announced that parking in the city will be free from June 16th to the 18th.
Sharjah officials offered free public parking from June 16 to 18. Sharjah Municipality claimed this doesn’t apply to blue-signed seven-day paid public parking zones.
On June 15, Muslims observe Arafah Day, the ninth holiest day of Islam, and on June 16–18, they formally celebrate the three-day Eid festival (Dhul Hijjah 10–12). Therefore, there will be a four-day break.
