The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) in Dubai launched a next generation of 32 smart kiosks at 21 different locations. They boast advanced functions to achieve customer satisfaction.
Whether to pay a parking fine or fee, update your vehicle registration card, or top up your Nol card. The shiny new smart kiosk booth from the Roads and Transport Authority RTA has everything you need.
These smart kiosks will offer 28 different digital services round the clock for the public. These services include vehicle licensing, parking spot fees, nol card services and revenue management (licenses, sales invoices etc).
These smart kiosks are available 24/7 at RTA main building, customer happiness centers and service provider centers. The new kiosks will accept numerous payment methods, including cash, credit cards, and NFC-enabled mobile phone payments.
RTA initiated the smart kiosk upgrading project in 2021. This project aims at enhancing and modernizing the digital service experience for its consumer base. Since then, the initiative’s demand has skyrocketed, and it has been mostly successful in its goals of helping the local community and increasing customer happiness.
To accommodate a growing customer base, RTA has expanded its kiosk infrastructure by adding 8 new kiosks in 6 different locations and upgrading 24 others.
The smart kiosks project is an ideal instance of the RTA’s use of modern technology to improve the customer experience, in accordance with the directives of the Dubai government and the goals of the Hamdan bin Mohammed Smart Government Programme to enhance services to the public, achieve customer satisfaction, and provide the necessary support in accordance with international best practises.
