Two group of tourists bought 30 iPhone 15 on the 1st day of UAE launch at Apple outlet in Dubai. The flagship items cost them around AED 300,000. Dubai Mall’s Apple outlet has seen huge influx of Apple enthusiasts with long queues to buy newly launched iPhone 15.
People started arriving at the store early on Friday morning to pick up the iPhones they had reserved. Egyptian national, Ahmed Brimu was among the very first customers at the Apple store in Dubai Mall. He purchased 11 iPhone 15 worth AED 100,000 which he reserved on September 15 before arrival to Dubai.
“It took a long time for me to escape the queue and enter the store. It is all worth it now after getting my hands on the new device,” said Ahmed to Khaleej Times.
“I purchased for my family all these devices who are eagerly waiting for it. I am so happy that I could make it on the first day.”
Sanat Anarboyev, Adel and Aziz traveled from Uzbekistan to pick up their iPhone 15. Their destination of choice was the Apple store at Dubai Mall. Therefore, the three brothers and their cousins found themselves among tens of thousands of early morning visitors to the Dubai Mall. They were each able to acquire two iPhone Pro Max 512 GB.
“This is my happiest day, We came to Dubai on visit. As the launch date was coinciding with our stay here, we decided to try out our luck in reserving the new mobile phone. Surprisingly we got it between 8-10 am,”said Sanat
“We are leaving to Tashkent soon and I believe we are the first ones to get this in Uzbekistan,” said Aziz.
These tourists paid more than Dh200,000 and purchased 19 iPhone 15 making them among the first people in their nation to own the newest generation of Apple’s smartphone.
