His Royal Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Dubai, paid tribute to Sheikh Mohammed bin Sheikh Mejren bin Sultan, who died on Sunday.
The Ruler of Dubai grieved Sheikh Mohammed bin Sheikh Mejren bin Sultan’s departure and recalled him as a ‘loyal advisor’ writing on microblogging platform X (previously Twitter).
He wrote on X:
“Today, Dubai bids farewell to Sheikh Mohammed bin Sheikh Mejren bin Sultan, one of its distinguished men, loyal advisors.” Sheikh was a contemporary of Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed, the late Dubai Ruler.
Sheikh Mohammed further wrote that the deceased had a sound opinion and wisdom. It originated from love, empathy and loyalty to the ruler and the ruled. He prayed that may Allah have mercy on him and elevate him to highest places in Paradise. Also, he prayed for the bereaved family, patience and solace.

According to the Emirates Dean Network, the prayer of funeral for the late Mohammed bin Mejren bin Sultan in the United Arab Emirates will take place following afternoon prayer at the Mohammed bin Sheikh Mejren bin Sultan Mosque in Nad Al Sheba, Dubai.
