“All fines for traffic violations committed by motorists during the recent record rains will be waived in Sharjah”, police have announced.

The Sharjah City Government verified that there were no parking fines throughout the record-breaking thunderstorms.
There will be no parking fees till Thursday, according to a declaration, because to the severe weather in several parts of Sharjah.

Al Shamsi highlighted the availability of destruction certificates for cars damaged by weather through the “Sharjah Police Smart App” and their website, aiming to support efforts and ease burdens during these exceptional circumstances. “Vehicle destruction certificates are now available at no cost for all individuals affected by weather related damage in Sharjah”, Brigadier Saif Al Zari Al Shamsi, Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police, has announced.
