On Friday, the Abu Dhabi Police General Command revealed the tragic loss of two Police Officers who were responding to a police complaint.
Unfortunately, a car crash occurred while responding to a police complaint, killing Lieutenant Muhammad Obaid Mubarak and Lieutenant Saud Khamis Al Hosani. There was word that a car had broken down in Abu Dhabi’s Sheikh Zayed Tunnel.
Their promotion from first policeman to lieutenant was extraordinary.
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan handed the Medal of Duty to the families of the martyrs.
“They (Lt Mubarak and Al Hosani) were beacons that shone the path of loyalty and sincerity, and the best positive role models for the people of the Emirates.” Sheikh Saif said.
The Abu Dhabi Police Department gave out free Fuel Cards to drivers who obeyed the rules.
