In accordance with the instructions given by His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, a member of the Supreme Council and the Ruler of the Emirate of Sharjah, Sharjah Municipality has announced 50 percent discount on its fine issued by the municipality before September 5, 2023.
Following the mandatory 90-day discount period commencing on the date of the issuance of the decision, this discount will remain in effect until December 3, 2023, and it will be accessible to all individuals, companies, government agencies, and quasi-public organizations.
The Director-General of the Sharjah City Municipality, Obaid Saeed Al-Tunaiji, expressed his gratitude to His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah and His Highness the Crown Prince for this kind gesture, which shows their commitment to recognising and addressing the needs of the community and relieving financial burdens on individuals and businesses.

The Director made it clear that the discount would apply to all breaches and fines levied by the Sharjah City Municipality, regardless of which division was responsible for making the decision.
This covers infractions committed in the fields of public parking, health and food safety, the environment, engineering and construction, hotel amenities, advertising firm, sewage, inspection and control, and other municipal areas of activity.
How to Pay Fines to Sharjah Municipality to get Discount?
He said that there are several ways to pay fines through the metropolitan government. Those who will benefit from the decision will be able to pay their fines via online mechanisms on the official website of the municipality, the official website and application of the Ministry of the Interior, kiosks, and designated service centres linked with the municipality. Through the Digital Sharjah portal, users are able to not only pay their vehicle penalties but also enquire about them.
