The Dubai Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) launched the new Stadium Bus Station on May 3rd. Because of the station’s excellent location in the Al Qusais Area, adjacent to the Stadium Metro Station, it ensures that it can accommodate the growing demand for bus service.
This Bus Station is ideal for emirate commuters since it reduces travel time and connects to other mass transportation choices. Routes 19, F22, F23A, F23, F23, F24, and W20 will commence and pass via the new bus terminal.
In order to guarantee that travellers get at their destinations more quickly when travelling, the Public Transport Agency of the Roads and Transport Authority will implement certain enhancements to the express lines.
The following lines will have their itineraries altered: 62-X02-X23-X22-X13-X25-X92-X64-.X94; the X28 line will no longer terminate at Agora Mall.
Weekend service to Musaffah Bus Station and faster travel times between Al Jaffiliya Station and Terminal A of Zayed International Airport are two goals of the upcoming modifications to bus line E102.
Along with that, 30 routes—the following: 19, 23, 27, 43, 62, C04, C10, C15, C18, D03, E102, E307, E400, F08, F17, F22, F23, F23A, F24, F51, W20, X02, X13, X22, X23, X25, X28, X64, X92, X94—will have their timetables improved. On May 3, 2024, all of these updates will be live.
There will be a cancellation of Route 91A on the same date. The 91 bus runs between Al Ghubaiba Bus Station and Jebel Ali Port Zone.
RTA orders four storm-closed metro stations to reopen in few days.
Increasing the capacity of the public bus system and coordinating it with the metro, tram, and maritime services are ongoing priorities for RTA.
