On Monday morning, a massive fire broke out at Barasti Beach Bar. Rapid action by firefighters allowed them to control the flames.
Smoke flew into the sky in video footage that went viral online.
“Please be advised that our pool and beach area will be closed until further notice,” Barasti said on Instagram.
The fire at Barasti Beach Bar caused no injuries.
The incident’s cause is unknown at this time. According to the report, Dubai Civil Defence workers are at the location, and there have been no reports of casualties.
It was unclear if the fire started at a neighboring building site and spread to the beach bar complex.
Le Meridien Mina Syahi, Beach Resort and Marina is home to the expansive beach location, which has been welcoming guests for almost 30 years.
