The Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of The Executive Council of Dubai, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, has instructed the Dubai Department of Finance to pay June salaries ahead of schedule.
Sheikh Hamdan the Crown Prince wants to assist employees manage their family requirements and be happy and healthy.
June salaries for Dubai public sector workers will arrive early to ensure they can support their families for the long Eid Al Adha vacation. On June 13, the department will pay the government workers in Dubai.
Eid Al Adha will commence on the first of the Islamic month of Dhu Al-Hijjah. As a result of the lunar cycle, the Islamic Hijri calendar is subject to annual change.
The Emirates Astronomical Society forecasts that Dhu al-Hijjah, the month of Eid Al Adha, begins on Friday, June 7. The Islamic month of Dhu al-Qi’dah began on Wednesday, May 8.
Sunday, June 16 is the Day of Arafat, and Eid Al Adha, a three-day UAE official holiday, begins the next day.
