Honored Highest High Noble Today, the Crown Prince of Dubai, Chairman of the Executive Council of Dubai, and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Dubai Future Foundation (DFF), Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, met with participants of the accelerator program at the Dubai Centre for Artificial Intelligence (DCAI). He reassured that Dubai will continue to be open to AI experts, entrepreneurs and innovators from all around the globe.
During his visit to AREA 2071 at Emirates Towers, His Highness reaffirmed Dubai’s commitment to become a hub for the development of innovative technologies with global effect. The AI experts gathered here are a representation of the 30 companies from all around the world who are now participating in the DCAI’s freshly launched accelerator program’s final round.

His Highness reaffirmed Dubai’s commitment to being a center for the development, testing, and deployment of artificial intelligence applications across a wide range of sectors vital to the economic and social progress of nations and communities worldwide.

AI at AREA 2071:
AREA 2071 has become home to the last round of the DCAI accelerator program, which has drawn entrepreneurs from all over the globe, including the United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom, the United States of America, Canada, Egypt, Pakistan, Italy, Lebanon, Singapore, South Korea, Spain, Switzerland, and others. These businesses were chosen to take part in the program out of a total of 615 applicants from 55 different countries who had originally submitted their applications.
Over the next eight weeks, these companies will work with a variety of Dubai government organizations to develop innovative concepts and applications that use these AI-based technologies. Their primary target markets are the government service sector and the media and communications industries.
In order to help government agencies in Dubai make effective use of emerging technology and prepare for potential disruptions in key industries, His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed founded the Dubai Creative Arts Institute (DCAI).
The purpose of the DCAI is to educate one thousand government employees from more than thirty various government entities on the uses of AI, in addition to building pilot projects and modernizing government services that may leverage these applications. As a result, government workers as a whole will be more productive.
